The main source of income will be from classes in a range of settings for a range of ages, however additional income can be made from our ever popular party package and training programmes.
Active Creative Ltd follows a tried and tested financial package for its franchisees, which includes ‘set up’, training, equipment, advertising, operations manual, exclusive operational territory and the rights to work with all Active Creative Ltd programmes and products.

Active Creative Ltd provides an exciting opportunity to run your own business, offering Dance, P.E, Music and Action classes for children from two to eleven years old.

What do we look for in a Franchisee?
A potential franchisee must enjoy working with children and have the ability to also relate to parents. In addition there are qualities that make a potential franchisee into an ‘Active Creative’ Franchisee:
- Knowledge of movement in some form i.e. Dance, Gymnastics, P.E or Sport
- Energy, enthusiasm & confidence- we enjoy our jobs and give 100%
- Good interpersonal skills – talking, explaining and friendliness are all part of an Active Creative franchise
- Determination and self-motivation – An Active Creative franchise will be financially very rewarding and provide a wonderful sense of job satisfaction if you want it to. We expect a lot but you’ll get a lot too.
- Business minded
- Good level of health & fitness
Our current franchisees are from all sorts of backgrounds!
Typically, our franchisees are mothers who have experience of young children. Having said this, applicants who can multi–task, think on their feet and spin on heads all at the same time would also be most welcome!
Applicants do not need to have had any movement or music training, but ideally should have a background in physical activity in some form. Our current franchisees and teachers started off in life as dancers, gymnasts, P.E teachers, primary school teachers, aerobics instructors, nannies, musicians, office managers and nursery nurses.
Active Creative franchisees are bright, enthusiastic, energetic, have endless patience, well organised and have good presentation skills. Any experience in business/advertising/ or administration also helps but is not a pre- requisite.
The questions you must ask yourself above and beyond any experience or formal qualifications are:

- Self-motivation and commitment – To build the business and maintain the high standards of the programme?
- Business minded – Are you able to identify and resolve difficulties, organise, plan and make decisions?

Once you have been accepted as a franchisee, Active Creative Head Office in Hertfordshire provides a comprehensive training programme that will cover all aspects of building your franchise area:

Initial Training is complemented by regular ongoing guidance focussed on the needs of the franchisee, franchisee meetings, and business planning support as well as ‘on hand’ practical help and advice. We ensure that the franchisee and the business itself is performing at the highest level, to make your business the number one children’s activity provider in your area.
Each training programme is individually tailored and is designed to match your specific abilities and needs. A detailed Operations Manual is supplied to each franchisee - partnered by ongoing support and expertise.
