Art - Dhrooti Mills

The Performing Arts Club

Dhrooti's background is in the fashion industry, having designed knitwear for some of the biggest names on the high street. Over the last few years, in between freelance work and having children, her creative streak was maintained by designing and making items for her own young daughters, and family and friends - inspired by her love of all things old and vintage and her belief in reusing materials.

MiniMills was created in the Spring of 2009, in order to take this concept further by showcasing to a wider audience. Later that year products for womenswear and the home were added under her label Mills&Bloom which previously had incorporated her garden design service.

Dhrooti has enjoyed working on school fundraisers like Santa’s grotto (the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) and a Hollywood inspired Auction of Promises; designing, decorating and putting together the themes for these events.

Drama - Jason Montague-King

The Performing Arts Club

BA Performance, University of Western Sydney, Australia

Jason moved to the UK in 2007, after an exciting and varied career as a theatre actor in Australia. He has extensive experience in all genres, specifically classical, such as Shakespeare.

He also has many years experience in Theatre in Education (T.I.E), which saw him touring throughout Australia performing to children of all ages and leading them in discussions about the relevant themes. He performed in many different T.I.E productions including a one man show in which he was playing eight characters.

Since being in the UK Jason has been teaching Drama Dance and Singing to children within the age group 4-13. This has been on a term to term basis in which every term culminates in a show featuring the songs and dance they have been taught.

Jason is excited and looking forward to joining PAC for a summer time travel “AROUND THE WORLD....... IN A SCARF AND SLIPPERS”.
